In 2000, the council for reconciliation commissioned a new performance work to mark the final document handover to government of the council on december 7 2000 in the great hall at parliament house

all members of parliament were invited to this historical event and speeches were given by the prime minister, the leader of the opposition and leaders from all other major government parties

the work was made by artistic team clare dyson & rachael jennings in collaboration with indigenous choreographer dorethea randell
the performance was 40 minutes in duration and involved 10 non-indigenous and 10 indigenous performers including dancers from jarum indigenous theatre
