east london sign with optical illusion bricks...
this part of london was completely bombed in WWII and the 1950s reconstruction seems to have a charming linking thematic of 'ugly'. this delight is waiting to be pulled down to make way for progress but ironically it's now so 'out' it's almost 'in'...Labels: buildings, london, out of paris

Is that anti-climb paint sign in Bow? We had one identical to that on the school wall when I was living there in the early 90's... I loved it!
